How to Reach Extraction
In No More Room in Hell 2, extraction is the point that converts a dangerous run into lasting progress. Scenario Mode requires the team to complete its critical objectives and leave with supplies. Survival Mode calls the helicopter after three successful broadcast defenses, while two failed waves open an early extraction option.
Extraction starts long before the final marker appears. A squad that spends every heal and round on optional fights may complete the objective and still lose developed Responders during the exit.

Scenario maps use themed objectives across six locations. Follow the current mission prompts and keep the squad moving toward the shared task. Optional looting is useful only when it improves the team's chance of completing the objective and leaving.
Prepare Before the Exit Opens
- Finish nearby looting before triggering the last objective stage, then distribute ammunition and treatment to the players who can use them.
- Regroup within support distance. Proximity voice chat becomes less useful when the team is spread across the map.
- Reserve healing, loaded weapons, and crowd-control tools for the final movement instead of spending them on isolated infected.
- Choose a movement order so vulnerable or infected Responders are not left alone behind the group.
- Commit to the exit once the team moves. Reversing direction for optional loot adds risk without advancing the extraction.
Survival Mode Extraction
Survival begins with a preparation window. Loot the area, arrange defenses around the speakers, and use the CRC supply drop before the pressure begins. Each broadcast wave lasts five minutes, followed by another supply drop and a short move to the next objective.
Three successful waves complete the distraction and call a helicopter for extraction. If the squad fails two waves, early extraction opens. At that point, weigh the value of the current Responders against the benefit of continuing. Leaving protects the character progress that death can erase.
Why Leaving Alive Matters
A Responder must survive to receive the run's rewards. Successful extractions progress abilities and lead to perks for future loadouts. The reward also improves as more squadmates make it out, giving the team a reason to protect a struggling player when the rescue remains practical.
Permadeath changes the final decision. A developed Responder carries more accumulated value, so extraction discipline should rise with character progress. Reaching the exit together is the measurable win.
